Course Description

HIST 2203 - World War One

This course examines the origins, progress and consequences of World War One. Topics include the causes of the war, the opening moves of 1914, the battles of attrition, trench warfare, the war at sea and in the air, the global influence of the war, the evolution of strategy and tactics and the impact of new weapons.

Prerequisite(s): 30h of university courses or permission of the instructor.
